Work on one side. People on the other.

A free job and talent exchange for the IBM i community. Write about your work in plain language — the matcher reads prose, not checkboxes, and already knows RPGLE, RPG IV and ILE RPG are the same thing.

Built for how this community actually hires

Two sides, one board — and a deliberate refusal to ask for things that have nothing to do with the work.

For candidates

  • Your resume is never public. An employer requests it, the link expires in fifteen minutes, and you see who looked.
  • Contact details are never published — messages are relayed and you choose whether to reply.
  • Confidential mode hides your name and LinkedIn while you look.

For employers

  • Post a normal listing — title, location, pay, description, your own requisition reference.
  • Rank candidates against it and get a plain-language reason for each one.
  • Take applications here, or link out to your own ATS.

What we refuse to ask

No age, no date of birth, no photograph, no graduation year, no dates of any kind. Experience is banded and capped at 10+, so a twelve-year veteran and a forty-year veteran look identical to the matcher.

How the matching works

Hard requirements gate the results. Similarity only ranks what already qualifies.

Step one

Requirements gate

Employment type, work mode, location, work authorization and availability are checked first. A requirement is never outweighed by a good score.

Step two

Prose is embedded

Everything written in plain language becomes a semantic embedding — so the board understands what you meant, not which words you happened to pick.

Step three

Ranked, with reasons

Whatever clears the gate is ranked by similarity, and every match comes with a plain-language explanation of the overlap — and the gaps.
